Ford Steps Into the Future with 2021 Fully Autonomous Car

Ford is stepping into the future by targeting a fully autonomous vehicle for ride-sharing in 2021. Drivers need not apply.

After recently investing in new tech companies and doubling their Silicon Valley team, the automotive powerhouse made the announcement in Palo Alto:

 

 

 

“The next decade will be defined by automation of the automobile, and we see autonomous vehicles as having as significant an impact on society as Ford’s moving assembly line did 100 years ago,” said Ford president and CEO, Mark Fields.
